Our Engineering team is the driving force behind an exhilarating development journey, sculpting the gold standard in insurance pricing software according to our ambitious development roadmap.
You will be leading the engineering team in our new Montreal office. You will be responsible for making sure that the team maintains a high quality delivery. You will also be in charge of making sure that the engineering team offers excellent customer support in the American time zone.
You are an experienced Software Engineer with a client-first approach that will help us build our complex data-processing solution. You have a proven track record working with Machine Learning models. You also possess a sharp curiosity to understand both the smallest details, and the general purpose of the features being developed.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage a team and squad of 6-7 engineers.
- Lead the architectural decisions in the feature implementations of your squad.
- Work closely with product and designers to refine features and prototypes.
- Ensure that the development is in line with clean code standards and our testing strategy.
- Close contact with clients to ensure maximum reactivity of your team.
- Training of junior engineers.
