About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Architect to lead the design and development of user-facing applications, with a primary focus on frontend architecture. In this role, you will drive the technical direction of our web applications, ensuring they are highly performant, scalable, and visually engaging. You will work closely with offshore development teams, guiding their efforts in implementing modern frontend frameworks and ensuring a seamless user experience.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in frontend technologies, a strong understanding of architectural principles, and experience in collaborating with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontend Architecture & Design: Lead the architectural design of complex user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks and technologies, such as React.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide remote teams in frontend development best practices, code quality, and performance optimization.
  • UI/UX Integration: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that frontend implementations align with the desired user experience and design specifications.
  • Component-Based Development: Lead the development of reusable UI components, adhering to a design system for consistency across applications.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure frontend applications follow security best practices, protecting user data and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Mentorship & Training: Mentor offshore developers, fostering their growth in modern frontend technologies and development methodologies.
  • Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews, emphasizing scalability, maintainability, and adherence to frontend standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and opportunities, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical team members.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in backend software development and architecture, with at least one year in a senior role.
  • Frontend Technologies: Expertise in modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with designers to translate UI/UX requirements into high-quality code.
  • Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring offshore development teams, with a focus on cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile development practices and experience working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex backend challenges, particularly when working with distributed teams.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps principles.
