The Impact U will make:
The HR Business Partner for the Technology Group is a strategic partner responsible for aligning human resources initiatives with business objectives. This role will collaborate closely with technology, product, and design leaders to provide guidance and support on a wide range of HR functions, including internal communications, talent management, performance enablement, learning & development initiatives, employee relations, and workforce planning.
The ideal candidate will leverage their deep HR expertise and coaching skills to cultivate a transparent, high-performing culture that drives continuous learning, growth, and innovation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Engineering, Product, and Design leaders, providing strategic guidance and translating business goals into people strategy.
- Lead key people processes for client groups, including performance calibrations, promotion reviews, compensation planning, and workforce planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coach leaders and managers on effective performance management, career development conversations, and building high-performing, resilient teams.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, engagement programs, culture initiatives, learning & development, and policy updates.
- Translate people data into insight-driven action plans that fuel high-impact initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional internal communications strategies and programs to ensure employees feel inspired, informed, and aligned. Create two-way dialogue channels that surface feedback, strengthen trust, and build alignment.
- Oversee learning & development programs that meet the needs of the business from needs assessment and design to rollout and ongoing program management.
- Act as a culture amplifier, reinforcing our Qorks (values) and fostering an inclusive, high-performance environment.
What U bring:
- 7–10 years of experience in a dynamic, people-centric environment as an HRBP, with a strong track record of delivering measurable learning and talent development outcomes.
- Experience with internal communications.
- A strategic, empathetic partner—thoughtful in approach, confident in influencing upward or laterally.
- Hands-on, high-energy doer—comfortable in ambiguity, eager to try new ideas, and quick to act.
- Familiar with HR systems, internal comms tools, and learning platforms.

💲 Hiring Ranges:
- Tier 1: $130,000 - $170,000 base salary
- Tier 2: $117,000 - $153,000 base salary
Unqork employs a market-driven approach to establish compensation ranges. In addition to a base salary, employees may also be eligible to receive a target incentive and company equity in the form of stock options.
An employee’s compensation within the range provided above depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, their location, role, skillset, level of experience, and similar peer salaries.
As a remote-first company, Unqork incorporates a geographic differential into our compensation structure, depending on the candidate’s location. We utilize a tiered system—Tier 1 and Tier 2—to accurately reflect local market rates and ensure our compensation packages are both fair and competitive.
Our geographic tiers are defined as follows:
- Tier 1: New York Metro, Seattle Metro, San Francisco Bay Area
- Tier 2: All other US and US territory locations
